Marsala and White {Real Wedding}

As Florist we are told what to do, what colors to use, what blossoms the Client likes or doesn't like. Marsala, White, and Foliage I believe will ALWAYS be a gorgeous combination.

For this Edgewood Wedding the Bride wanted a rustic elegance to the designs. Not so perfect, but not completely wild and out of control either, a perfect combination for Lake Tahoe florals. For the Bridal Bouquets we used a combination of foliage; Emerald Green long laterals from Myrtle and more draping foliage like Seeded Eucalyptus to soften the bouquet. Dark Dahlias draw you in with their layers of petals and green eye. Polo Roses, an absolute favorite of mine because of their layers of petals and full head fill out the bouquet with White Freesia and White Lisianthus playing second fiddle.

The Ceremony took place on the North Side of Edgewood on the grassy spot. The Bride and Groom stood under a Birch Arbor with two arrangements on either corner post. The designs complimented the Bridal Party Bouquets, still refined with a classic Tahoe twist.

The Centerpieces carried on the theme with a Black Flat Top Metal Lantern and Candle surrounded by a garland of Seeed Eucalytpus and Marsala colored Roses poking throughout. A sprig of Rosemary was fashioned with a tag for each place setting.
